This is a tied quilt and it has NO batting: it is just the applique top and the feed sack or burlap cotton backing, nothing in between.
It measures 78" on each side. The bed is a queen, 80" by 60".
The kittens and baskets are appliques that were first sewn by machine to the off-white fabric, then stitched by hand. The handle of the baskets are hand embroideries. The details on the face of the cats are also tiny embroideries.
Depending of those embroideries, the kit...tens look perfectly happy, smiling (pic # 6), or feeling it trouble (pic # 7) and in only particular case, the kitten has some kind of enigmatic shift eyes (pic # 8).
The baskets were made all of different fabrics, mostly simple 100% cotton ones, but in a few cases they might be feed sacks, although we are not sure.
We combine shipping.
