Vintage Chelsea Claremont Ship’s bell clock and barometer set both with a 4” dial. I ran it for 2 weeks and it keeps perfect time and the bells strike correctly. Serial number 523579 stamped on the works, placing the manufactured date around 1947. Both Clock and Barometer bezel is hinged. Face is stamped “ CHELSEA SHIP’S BELL“. Bottom of base is inscribed “JULY 2, 1948 DICK MATHER FROM DES MOINES PLANT. I recommend that clock should be lubricated/serviced by a reputable clo...ckmaker. Overall condition is very good. Starting this at no reserve. Will include a generic key. Wood base Measures 14” X 3 1/2”. Dial is 4” on both. Shipped FEDEX ground and double boxed for safety.
