Here is a vintage cross peen hammer head still in used condition. The head is marked; X-1959-1, I do not know if that is a part number or the year it was made! It measures about 4-1/2" long, the "square" face is 1-5/8" across, the peen edge is also 1-1/2" across and is about 1/2" wide. The head weights just over 32 oz. with the remains of the handle in it.
