An exquisite antique gold metallic silk textile. Dates to the Edwardian era, and was taken from a French evening gown made in Paris. Real metallic silk, a pale muted Nile green silk woven with metallic threads in shades of gold. Wonderful for millinery, weddings and bridal, dolls, fairies, angels, dressmaking and accessories, and other creative purposes. This is a lightweight and supple. The fragment is a bit odd shaped, but measures&...nbsp; approximately 21" by 14 1/2". The colors change as the light plays over the fibers, very beautiful. Thank you for looking.
