Original Description:
This is a rare stamped blue slip decorated stoneware salt glaze crock made and signed by N Clark CO Lyons, which dates it to between 1822 and 1852 (Nathan Clark active in Lyons NY during these years).  He started in Athens NY between 1813 and1829.  The number 3 is in blue slip and it is a 3 gallon crock (no lid).  The maker stamp is also in blue slip.
Condition: Excellent, with no chips or cracks or hairlines.
