WW2 584th Field Artillery Battalion Hand Embroidered Unit Flag

A very interesting item I acquired from the granddaughter of the US serviceman who served in the 584th.  The flag is very well constructed on an almost velvet material with thick embroidered stitching to the eagle, arrows etc.  Does not glow under black light, the red field not including the gold tassels measures 34 1/2 inches by 43 inches. Overall great condition, there are several very small tears in the field that you don't notice unless you hold it up to the light. The fl...ag is double sided with the same design on each side. The side with no fringe has the tunnel for sliding over a flag pole. Great addition to your Field Artillery or flag collection.  Sales within the USA only. Thank you for bidding.
