A rare Victorian period mourning band ring. 15 carat yellow gold example. Designed with a black enamel and seed pearl set panel to front. The band has sections of hand engraved floral pattern with braided hair running to the inside.
6.45mm wide band to front.
15ct marks. Engraved to the inside William Critchley died July 20 1894. 5.8 grams.
Size N 1/2 UK, 7 US
Overall general wear. Clean engraving and design. Clean enamel and pearls. The braided hair... is damaged and some missing.
