A pair of antique solid 18 carat gold (tests thereabouts) earrings, with hand painted portrait miniatures of elegant ladies. Such a lovely little pair...so collectible & very wearable!CONDITION: Adapted from links or similar in antiquity, lower carat wires old additions. Slight signs of enamel wear commensurate with age and use.DATE/MARKS: Around 1840/50. Wires marked '9ct'.DIME...NSIONS: Faces 13 x 9 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.WEIGHT: Approx. 2.1 grams.Click here to view our other items.
