First is a very cool vintage native weapon from The Jungle Cruise Pavilion in Disneyland California. This hung in the queue and other locations at the pavilion a very long time ago, maybe in the late 50's when the ride opened. You can see props like this on the queue and the ride. They're all types of spears, Shields and other weapons like this. This is an actual old piece. Most likely used when the ride w...as around in the 50s and 60s but probably used up until the 70s.This is one of those weapons that you would throw well somebody is running and it would stop their legs from moving. Again it is an actual native item. It is made from Stone, and covered in leather and rope. One of the stones covered in leather is worn bit. I showed it in one of the pictures. Some of the leather has come off. But overall the piece is in very good condition. The rope is much longer than it shows, but it's bunched up because that's how it hung up.I bought this from a collector who a bunch of years ago bought it from a woman who worked at Disneyland. Her and her husband met while working at Disneyland in the late 1950's. I had even heard that they were married in the park. They worked there in the late 50's until the early 80's. When the husband died a few years ago, the widow sold some of the stuff that they had accumulated over the almost 40 years that they worked at Disneyland.
Next is a very cool old oil can from the queue of the Indiana Jones ride in Disneyland California. I just sold my personal piece from the ride, but through a source, I was able to get one more piece. This will be the last piece from the ride. this shows the level of detail that they wanted with the queue. The prop is 9inches tall. It has holes along the bottom and at the bottom so water could drain out.
