Beautiful Early 19th C. French Silk Embroidery
Description:This beautiful early 19th century French silk embroidery has a natural colored silk background with charming vignettes of embroidered flowers with roses, carnations and horn of plenty with small flowersin pink, rose, red, blue, yellow and white with green leaves.
Wonderful for mounting or for collectors !
Measurement
The fabric measures &...nbsp; 24 inches in width by 18 inches in length.
Condition:
Fair to good.There are breaks in the fabric in many places, there is a charming embroidered border with delicate sequins In one area along the bottom the border is missing.The silk embroidery is backed by a 19th c. cotton fabric
