Up for 'buy it now' is a rare to come to the market place, authentic Corgi 267 Batmobile red whizzwheels example from my personal collection, near mint condition.
Always an exciting Corgi toy, this high gloss example comes with both authentic figures of Batman and Robin. It has a bright chrome cockpit and launch tubes. Intact blue tinted glass. Original aerial. With gold tow hook and metal parts. Correct that this version has a fixed (not pulsating) flame. Version wit...h shiny chromed centres and red tyres. The original red tyres run well with no flat spots. This version comes in the later box. There is some debate as to which box is correct and as always with Corgi there were some transitional boxes and models. This being the later box type.
Colour vibrancy, particularly of the colourful box reverse picture, is nice. Light wear includes minor edge ruffling at end flaps and a fold at the rear, visible in the picture of the box. This later window box (1973 date on base) is clean, bright and complete, with intact original cellophane. Light wear only. The original cellophane is intact too. The Secret Instruction Packet has been carefully opened and inside you will find the correct 'red' Instruction Leaflet with a wealth of Batman-related information on the reverse, original cloth badge (this has become attached with age) and a complete sprue of yellow missiles.I will post worldwide.Payment within 2 days of the end of auction.Good luck!
