Original Photo German Tiger Tank - Tiger 331, s.SS.Pz.Abt. 101 - Normandy front!!!!. RARE!!!!! The photo is glued to an album page. The photo is clear with crisp detail. A few surface blemishes from possible glue. Note the tent above the turret. This is quite unusual to see in a Tiger panzer photograph. This is the only original I have seen of this photo in my 20+ years of collecting.
The size of the photo is 3 3/8" x 5" ( 8.57 cm x 12.7cm). This photo is a bit rar...e in that it has been printed on higher gloss wartime paper. The photos glued to the back of the album page have the same higher gloss finish. Original, wartime WW2 photos, pre May 1945 can absolutely have a gloss finish. The silver gelatine process was invented in the late 1800's and can produce high gloss papers for example. Obviously I cannot identify the paper type, as it is glued to album. Normally I identify Agfa Lupex, Agfa Brovira etc., when I sell photos.
Shipping is to USA and the EU. Shipping to the EU is 10 Euro and is by registered mail. Shipping by registered mail to EU is usually 10-14 days. Shipping to USA is by USPS priority mail, and is $9.00.
