STUNNING – Antique – BRILLIANT CUT GLASS – BANQUET LAMPThis is AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL, BRILLIANT cut glass banquet lamp! It has a brilliant cut pinwheel design from top to bottom. This could be from Libbey, which I think is a strong candidate because of the shape of the foot. However, I could not find a mark on this so it could be from any of the superior glass cutting houses. This stands 18 3/8” tall to the collar of the font, 25” tall... to the top of the shade, and 30 5/8” over the chimney. The shade is 7 ½” across, the font is 5 ¾” across and the foot is 9” across.The “shade” is attached to the burner and cannot be separated from it! Please note how the shade with burner is unscrewed from the font! The prongs inside the bottom of the shade/globe are for the chimney. The chimney itself is made of very thin delicate glass.The cutting on this made sharp edges everywhere and you need to wear gloves to clean it. I didn’t and have several micro cuts on my hands.We sold the twin to this one earlier. They are going separately because the shade on this has two pieces of white frit in the bottom and a crack that I hope I have managed to show. In the picture with my thumb, at the end of the star I am touching, the crack comes off that star point. It's there, but - it doesn't matter on which side or where along that line you feel, you cannot feel that crack in or out. I would almost say it is strictly on the interior, but I may be missing a tell-tale spot. It appears to have been made when the piece was cut, as it starts at and extends from the point of a deep cut star.This will have to be shipped in two separate packages - over-sized - to get this to you safely. If we overestimate the shipping cost. we will refund the over-payment. It will be expensive - but we will do our best for you. Total for the lower 48 should be around 60.00.Good Luck!!
