RARE VINTAGE 1940s RCA ON AIR LIGHT STUDIO WARNING SIGN RADIO STATION RECORDING THEATER ART DECO VERY SCARCE
These don't come up very often and when they do they always go fast. This is the RCA MI-11717-A aluminum ON AIR warning sign and I don't think you'll find a nicer example. It measures (14" x 3" x 3.5") and It is super clean. The glass is flawless no cracks chips or scratches, I have seen ones with broken glass sell for $500+. This one has been converted... to fluorescent lighting with a antique period correct cloth cord and very nice push button power it is an excellent example. It was originally a wall-mount but looks just great with the cord and sitting here on a shelf. With a bulletproof double box and overly bubble-wrapped packaging it is just FREE SHIPPING anywhere in North America. This blast from the past would be a wonderful addition to any collection of vintage broadcast gear or a "Holy Grail" for any TV or Film prop department.
