I'm selling this for my father, and I believe the jacket saw action in the European theater. I don't know the details about where it has been, but it was worn by M. J. Lang and L. R. Zimmerman at some point, as their names are written in the jacket. I contacted the family of Lloyd R Zimmerman who served in North Africa and Italy, and this may have been his. The order number 42-12683-P for Werber places the jacket's date to 1940.
