This is an original signed Amronlite lamp shade which can be used on any Amronlite banker's lamp base. The shade comes with the original mounting bracket, so if you have a base, it will just slip right on. Amronlite was made by Fairies Manufacturing Company of Decatur, IL. Fairies also made a line of bankers lamps that were signed Verdelite. This shade, while signed Amronlite, will fit onto both bases marked Verdelite or Amronlite, as the mounting brackets were identical. Verdelit...e and Amronlite were competitors of the Emeralite and Greenalite lamps, made by two other companies. This shade cannot be used on either an Emeralite or Greenalite base.

The shade is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The mounting bracket is in excellent condition with all the screws present. The outside back retains its original bronze patina. The front of the bracket retains some of the original light colored paint that was used to reflect light. That paint almost always shows signs of age, but since it’s on the front of the bracket, and will be hidden by the bulb, it won’t be seen when from the outside when the shade is on the base. Besides….who’s going to look under the shade and behind the bulb! This would be a great way to complete your Verdelite or Amronlite lamp base if you’re missing a shade. Shades by themselves are very rare to find, so if you need just the shade, this is a rare opportunity. Catalog not included. Good luck if you decide to bid.
