This is a charming cross stitch piece from late Victorian times in the form of a large comfortable feather filled cushion. The cushion is made up of two pieces of cross stitch needlework. One side has a pretty repeat diamond pattern in shades of raspberry, deep green and buff; the other has a more Celtic type design with foliate detail, in similar colours. The cushion is edged with a rope twist braid which shows some signs of wear. The needlework is in excelllent strong condition. It m...easures 50 cms by 45 cms.UK delivery is £12.
