Here's a very rare find indeed. This is a 1890's Florence No. 28 kerosene parlor stove, in practically MINT condition. It looks as if it's been taken out of the crate and then stored for over 100 years. These old stoves looked really this nice when coming from the manufacturer in the day. All the mica windows are intact and solid. All the chrome plating is impeccable. The fount is in great shape as well and the wick looks never used. Th...e brass ball wick control arm in front is bent a bit, and the control arm goes up and down, but the wick stays in place. There is an inner black stove pipe maybe 4" diameter that I took out when taking photos so one can see through the burn chamber to the other side windows. The inner 4" stove pipe is in the 5th photo, and that appears to be part of what makes up the "Flame Spreader" over the wick. All in all this is a gorgeous original piece. Stove measures 34" tall by 17" wide at base. Will be shipped in 2 separate boxes, and expect upward to about 60.00 - 70.00 ? or less for shipping. Will answer all serious inquiries. Can take extra photos as well. On Nov-03-19 at 10:13:35 PST, seller added the following information:Winning bidder Must contact me before making a PayPal payent for an actual shipping cost.
