This is a wonderful and highly desirable early 19th century spun brass preserve pan with mortised handles. The subtly shaped rim has a diameter of approximately 11-3/4", 13" wide from handle to handle. The pan has a depth of approximately 3-1/4" deep. It is in beautiful estate condition with NO dents, NO breaks, NO repairs, NO replacements, and NO restorations. The handles remain firmly mortised in position with NO movement. It shows only age appropriate light signs of normal surface w...ear with a nicely polished patina which could certainly be brought up to a brighter shine with additional polishing, at the buyer's discretion.
