Measuring approximately 7 1/2 inches across, the medallion measuring approximately 3 x 4“. As you can see, this is a very special piece. Likely dating from the 1920s. There’s not a lot of elastic in it. It features a medallion of silk ribbons and ribbon work. As you can see there’s some minor tattering to the medallion. To me it only makes it more special. The actual garter part is blush pink and has beautiful detail. There is a touch of blue in the medallion.. A very small part ...but no doubt present to satisfy the requirement for a touch of blue.
