This is a beautiful quality giclee 8x10 inch photo from a 35mm Velvia transparency printed on Epson pro glossy photo paper with archival inks of a surfer at Sunset Beach bottom turning on a 15 foot wave 1980's, north Oahu, by longtime Hawaii professional photographer Bill Romerhaus. It is shrink wrapped to protect it from damage, cropped, and mounted on a 8x10 inch mat board **included as part of the print as you can see here (see photo), has photography, surfing history, and pr...eservation tips included in the label on the back. **Note that it was shot on film and slightly grainier than a digital photo. Sunset Beach is one the more famous surf breaks in the world, and many professional contests are held there each year. Its waves are some of the most powerful on earth, generated by far distant North Pacific Ocean storms during the winter months (Sept-March). They are an incredible example of the ocean's mightiness. Native Hawaiians, surfers, and a lot of oriental people consider these magnificent waves to be a supreme example of power and manifested with the spirit of mother nature. To actually see these waves breaking along the shoreline is an awesome, humbling, and unforgettable experience.
