SIZE: It measures approx. 5 inches +/- in diameter at the widest points and is approx. 4 1/8 +/- inches deep. CONDITION: Typical signs of use/age includ...ing lspalling / firing "pops" No chips, cracks, or repairs. - PLEASE SEE ADDITIONAL PHOTOS BY SCROLLING DOWN TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE. SIGNATURES/MARKINGS: It is marked/signed as shown in the photos and reads, ' MARIE Z. CHINO - ACOMA N.M. ". COMMENTS: A classic and old example of a classic Acoma jar by one of the matriarchs of Acoma pueblo. Marie z. chino ( 1907 -1982 ) IS A VERY WELL LISTED AND KNOWN ARTIST FROM acoma and there is a wealth of infirmation on her if you research her. Wonderful old patina and a nice size to display, it has NO RESERVE !
