Super Ultra Rare! Vintage Plumb Anchor Brand Boy Scout B.S.A. Hatchet, Hand Axe. This is the very first B.S.A. axe/hatchet that I've ever seen with the PLUMB ANCHOR BRAND syble. The axe head is in very good condition. The cutting edge is a little dull but is mostly free of chips (see pics). The poll end does have some miner mushrooming to it (see pics). The PLUMB ANCHOR BRAND syble & BOY SCOUT emblem are present on the head, but are hard to read (and photograph), but like I said th...ey are present on the head (one on each side of the head). The handle, I believe is not the original, but still is solidly mounted to the head, and has a great patina to it. This old axe is in as found condition, I have not done anything at all to the head or handle.
