For sale is a set of original Mighty Mite humbucker pickups made arount the late 1970's or early 1980's. Made famous by Eddie Van Halen when he used them in the early 1980's. In very good to good condition for their age. 1300 tests 13.4k and is for the bridge, and the 1400 tests 9.4k and is for the neck. These are what they are suppose to test as. The 1400 has been wax potted or what I think has been rewound and then dipped in bees wax or redipped in bees ...wax. I never tested the neck pickup only with a multi-meter but I did put the 1300 in an old 1973 Gibson SG and it sounds great. When you turn the tone all the way down they produce a cool raw sounding distortion without the high end. I have switched over to vintage dirty fingers is why I am selling these.
