This is a wonderful antique ormolu bird cage. It is found on page 73, #3527 of "ORMOLU DOLLHOUSE ACCESSORIES" Metal toys from the Erhard & Sohne Company. It is shown here on 2 different 1:12 scale miniature dressers which are not included in this listing. It measures 2 1/2" tall by 2" wide and has a large wax red headed parrot swinging on a perch. It still has its original hanging loop. It is missing one tab on the bottom and has a super tiny wire instead see picture 8. Dates... to around 1870.
