NOTE: I am a watchenthusiast, but not an expert by any means. I am happy to answer any and all questions, and am describing the watchas well as I can.<P> Up for bid is a mens 1970s vintage TISSOT Automatic Seastar PR516 Swiss 17J 796 automatic mechanical watch in a stainless steel case. The cushion case is 35 mm wide with 19 mm lugspacing, and it is about 12 mm thick. It has a blue dial with black andstainless marker ring, marked “Trademark / TISSOT / SWISS” ...and “AUTOMATIC /SEASTAR / PR 516 / GL” and “SWISS T MADE”. It has day and date windows at the 3 position. It does not have a quick-set function, butthe day and date do advance with the hands; I am not sure how the day issupposed to be adjusted. The 17 Jewel Tissotcaliber 796 automatic wind movement is marked as shown. It has just beencleaned, runs and keeps good time.<P> Condition on the watch is fairly good. There is no band. The crystal is scratched, with tint edgenibbles, and there is normal surface wear. It is newly serviced and ready to use. A cool 1970s watch from a good producer.<P>
