Piano Stool by A. Merriam Co. South Acton, Mass. Condition is used. All legs have “claw” style feet holding a clear glass style ball Inscription on metal plate under seat reads:A. MERR SO. ACTON MASS
H: 18-22” range (seat is height adjustable by spinning clockwise/counter-clockwise and this functions normally) Seat Diameter: 14” From what I see of other ads for similar piano stools same mfr. believe... it was made before 1900. I don’t know what type of wood this is but another seller showed one as being “cherry” that looks a lot like this one. Packed in box 20 x 20 x 16 ½, about 23 pounds.
