An original 1st press of EW on the UK Fly label. Matrix 2/2 - very 1st cut. Etching 'Porky/Pecko'. Stampers "1-PO/2-MP". Also note that the labels are the very 1st iteration available. With the wrangling over publishing rights at 1st release the track "Jeepster" gets an alteration and the credit changes to Campbell Connolly very quickly. This label still does NOT have the Jeepster alteration. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original E.J.Day heavy card cover with red sticker [per... very 1st issue]. Also included is the original inspired artwork inner sleeve. NO poster I'm afraid.
Vinyl (Ex+) In super condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a few very light marks visible both sides - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing fro beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback without reservation. Intros and inbetweens are pretty much silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. I really don't think I'e heard a better rendition - it really is exemplary. Beautifully rendered audio as only these early heavy duty copies can deliver...forget later reissues. THIS IS THE ONE YOU WANT/NEED. Even those low-key acoustic tracks are lovely and CLEAN! Interference is pretty much non-existent. Just solid clean audio with, at worst, a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments per side. FINAL UPGRADE..it's literally that darn good.
Cover (Ex-) Truly a pain in the derriere to find in top class condition, but this example acquits itself admirably. It retains all the original black colour and is not exhibiting the surface wear that is so common on this title. there are a couple of creases and a couple of stress creases at the edges, but overall - VERY NICE! The rear is equally good with just a couple of thumbnail creases and, again, very little of that surface wear. Edge wear is light for this title and the spine exhibits a touch, but the text mostly remains legible. Overall the over still retains excellent rigidity in part thanks to the heavy-card employed in manufacture.
Inner (Vg+) Relatively unaged. One side has split a bit and has been taped up. There's a one inch bottom edge split.
