Here for your consideration, a really lovely, Vintage "Swan" S.F.230/60 Lever-Filling Fountain Pen......in Black Hard Rubber.....with a fixed "Swan" ball-end Clip and Two Gold plated Barrel Band trim.
Manufactured by MABIE TODD & Co. ...England......in the late 1920's.
It is......overall, in "very good+" order and made to very high standards of quality....the Black Hard Rubber is still a nice shiny black colour.__________
The flat topped Cap is in lovely condition...it has the clear imprint...

The Gold Plated Cap Band is in very beautiful condition...this surrounds a "Red Ripple" cap top insert which has a "Swan" logo imprint on the top....only a little wear showing ...it shines up beautifully...
The fixed "ball-end" Clip is in lovely condition...only a little wear on the ball-end...it has the imprint at its top...

.......The Cap tightens up and posts securely on to the barrel.

...... It has an excellent iridium tip and it writes smoothly and well...very responsive, with very good ink flow.
... the Feed has the "SWAN" imprint and is in very good condition......the long Section has the imprint... "SWAN" SF2 ...and is in excellent condition.

The Barrel is in very good condition... ....no bad marks, breaks or cracks...the two Gold filled Barrel Bands are in very good condition...a little wear showing on both at their edges, again they shine up really well.
.... it has a very clear Barrel imprint ......It reads....

..a very collectable and usable pen... Showing only wear commensurate with careful usage and age.__________
The pen has been test filled and then flushed clean....and finally, given a light polish._______
