This is a lovely looking three-tiered lacquered wooden cake stand.
I believe that it dates from the Edwardian period.
On two shelves there is depicted a gold coloured bird (a Chinese crane?) and some plant on the third.
It is if a good size measuring 31.5" (81cms) high and each shelf is 9" (23cms) square.
The stand is in good condition and folds perfectly flat and is also stable when the shelves are down.
It does have a few minor marks to the surface here and there but t...he depictions are fine.
A most unusual and eye-catching piece.
