Clear Glass Triple Faceted Cut Glass Oil Lamp Font/Fount, Duplex Bayonet Collar
A good quality clear glass font with three rows of equal sized cut facets. Bayonet type collar to fit Antique Hinks, Messenger and similar type duplex burners (not suitable for screw in burners) . The undermount has a 23mm screw fit (No 10 size - the more common size). Probably dates to late 19th or early 20th century.

Condition: In a good used condition, there are typical small nibbles to the edges of the cut facets but otherwise free of chips and cracks. Some light scratching around the undermount. I have not polished the brass work, undermount has some fixing compound protruding below which may need to be removed to fit to some bases. Collar is a little uneven where it meets the glass in one section (some one possibly tried to remove it). Typical small air bubbles & impurities in the glass. Please see photos.
Size: 15cm high (excluding protruding cement), 14.5cm widest diameter. Collar distance between lugs 57mm , 715grams.

I am always happy to combine postage but please contact me before paying to arrange the most suitable method. Unless I am offering free postage I tend to charge P&P at Cost plus 15-20% to cover packaging materials & other charges.
International items under 2kg will still be sent via Royal Mail, in fact it is now cheaper to sendsome items to Australia than it is to the UK when using Royal Mail. I will quite happily post most itemsoverseas but if I have not already provided international prices please ask me for postage costs beforebidding.
I will not post to Italy, Some of the Middle East, South America or Africa (Except South Africa). International items sent by courier will require a contact telephone number.
If quoted economy international postage to Ireland or Germany will be via Hermes who offer competitivetracked rates for these countries.

I do try to recycle boxes and other materials wherever possible and will sometimes use newspaper forpadding out, if it does not have any impact on the cost of postage.
