Vintage "Minerva" Chronograph Pocket watch, open face, case- 53 mm. in diameter without the pendant, enamel dial with defect to 6, see the pictures, running condition.
A gorgeous military pocket watch chronograph MINERVA- IMPORTER GEORGE STOCKWELL 1907 in it's original used condition...very rare collectible watch!
Movement: used high grade crown wind/set, this watch is in my husband's collection with years of no use!I think your movement would be dry...!It works quite well, but I recommend general cleaning.the box of this pocket watch has rust - (like here in Asturias where I live, we have a lot of humidity, the rust sticks)
Dial: used clean porcelain with black numerals, original blue/black antique hands, seconds hand on 6 another on 12, very nice looking, super rare in this condition - with little defect to 6
Case: used with rust in back cover...this watch in our opinion stands out and is very collectible!
Sizes: approximately 53 mm (across left to right) x 63 mm (including crown top to bottom without the bow), thickness approx. 16 mm
Bezel: original
Glass: original crystal, clean condition
Crown: onion shape with button
Condition: Ticking well keeps a good time resets fine (see seconds hand is moving). Since watch is pre-owned and vintage 100% time accuracy is not guaranteed, might need regulating.the chrono works well - but sometimes!It resets well ... it seems that everything is perfect.but sometimes when I use the chrono ... after spending about ..10-15 min. - stops and stops the watch in full.I reset it, I keep using it and it works .....that does not do it every time ... but I prefer to explain it so that you have it in mind before buying it.It may be that this is not a big problem ... but for me - yes!I hope that now you understand me because I sell it as damaged - I'm just sincereI think that will need cleaning in general.

If you want this watch to work perfectly - I recommend that you take a look at the watchmaker.Because it could be that while I had it, and took pictures ... some needle stays twisted, or it could be that I get some hair or powder ... many things can happen!I try to leave everything perfect ... but it's not bad to have all of that in mind before buying it.
The watch has signs of use as they appear in the photographs that are part of its description but given its age it is in excellent condition.Valuation according to professional criteria based on their use and conservation status.
