This doll has a perfect head that's marked on the back: HALBIG, K * R, Germany, 21. There is also an incised "W" on the front rim of her head. She has single stroke eyebrows, original working blue-gray glass sleep eyes with fine lashes painted all around and an open mouth with four tiny teeth. Her complexion is even and undamaged. She's on her original five piece composition body thats elastic strung and in excellent condition. She has painted shoes and ...socks. Her clothing is antique but not original to this doll. It has been lightly sewn to this doll exactly the same way it was originally attached to a different damaged doll. It fits her perfectly. Her head is stuffed with tissue paper to protect the sleep eyes. She has her original mohair wig that is still attached to the original buckrum pate. The wig and pate are simply pinned to the tissue paper stuffing in the head, I did not wish to glue the pate to the head. This little German school girl is a cutie.
