Here is an authentic hand signed postal FDC First Day Cover signed by JAMES VAN ALLEN . He was a space scientist.

It is postmarked Princeton NJ, March 4, 1979.
On the back of the cover it is blank.
This isNOT a copy or reprint. I am selling this for a good friend of mine whohas been an avid memorabilia collector for 30+ years. He has acquired agreat deal... of knowledge about authentic autographs through extensive researchand studying. He has learned enough about the hobby to feel confident inhis own judgment as to what's authentic and what is not, who to trust and whonot to trust. My friend has always been very condition-conscious as abuyer, so between his description and mine, we will do our best to point outevery possible peculiarity. In most cases I'll understate the condition, and the item is usually much nicer than comparable ones being offered on eBaywhere sellers are not necessarily as detail-oriented as I am. Although there is no COA included with thisitem, you will have 30 days from date of purchase to have the item examined byanyone you want. If for ANY reason youare not satisfied with your item within the first 30 days of ownership you mayreturn it to me for a full refund.
