Nice mahogany top and base units for barrister bookcases by the Globe Wernicke Company. The top measures 34.25" x 11.5" x 3" and is marked/labelled as Catalog No. 851 with finish #516 1/2. The base measures 35" x 11.5" x 7" high and is marked/labelled as Catalog No. 847 with finish #516 1/2. PLEASE NOTE: The Globe Wernicke catalog does not list dimensions for the base units. This base and top should fit any standard Globe Wernicke 34" x 11.5" bookshelf unit. If you... need precise measurements of the units, please inquire BEFORE purchasing. There is no damage to either unit. Minimal scratches and wear from ordinary use. The top unit's finish is much lighter and shows more wood grain than the base unit. Could just be that it was dusted/polished more often. Base has thicker coating with a few runs but it does appear to be the original finish (if it was refinished or re-coated, it was done long ago). See photos. Weight is 12.5 lbs for the 2 pieces together without any packaging materials or crate. These 2 pieces will require an oversized package and may incur high shipping charges. We've offered several options to assist in finding the least cost method, including free local pickup (possible delivery in the Tampa Bay area - inquire before purchasing.) You may also arrange your own shipping transport company and we will be happy to assist with logistics. We have had very good experiences with shippers contracted by our buyers through U-Ship. You can request shipping quotes there and link to this listing so they will know what needs to be transported. We recommend requesting blanket wrap service. The pickup location has no loading dock but also no stairs. Trucks can be backed up directly to a roll up door. We can be available 24/7 for pickup (arrangements made in advance.)

SHIPPING: We are always happy to combine shipping on multiples items whenever it is safe to do so. We use plenty of quality packing materials so that your item(s) will arrive in the same condition as they left our shop. We do recycle/re-use clean, usable packing materials when possible. If your item arrives damaged in shipment (this almost never happens) please save all packing materials and take photos of the condition of the package as it arrived. We will refund your full purchase price including shipping costs as soon as we have the documentation needed for us to file a claim against the shipper.
