ANTIQUE 19th C PUNCHED PAPER MOTTO Sampler "WHAT IS HOME W/O MOTHER" Adirondack Frame #5- this is a nice unique or possibly rare punched paper sampler motto from the Victorian Era. The frame is an Adirondack Folk Art Frame with leafy accents on all 4 corners- 2 are missing the ends of the accents- could be replaced or repaired- hard to find these leaves in perfect condition. This would be a perfect gift for Mother's Day! See all photos for your review of condition.&n...bsp; The punched paper sampler itself has the normal issues of age such as some minor loss of embroidery thread, wear or loss to the punched paper, some bends to the paper, age staining of paper etc. Most of these are seen with these attendant use and age issues. The Outer edges of the sampler measure 10"X 23" and the visible insert are in the front of the sampler/item measures approx 8" X 20.5". The frame is made of Wood (not sure what type) and the frame itself is a folk art statement. There is a wire hanger on the back and the original wood backing which has some wear and loss of wood.
