THIS VINTAGE PLANE IS IN EXCELLENT, UNRESTORED CONDITION, IT HAS NOT BEEN POLISHED OR BUFFED. 95%+ JAPANNING. OUTSTANDING PATINA. BEAUTIFUL LAQUER ON THE ROSEWOOD TOTE AND KNOB. TOTE IS SOLID WITH NO CRACKS, SPLITS OR REPAIRS, ONE VERY SMALL CHIP AS SHOWN IN PHOTO. 
BLADE IS FULL SIZE 6 5/8"X 1 1/2" WITH NO RUST, NICKS OR DEFECTS. PLANE DATES TO 1907-1909 WITH STANLEY RULE AND LEVEL LOGO AND IMPROVED LATERAL ADJUSTMENT. DIFFICULT TO IMPROVE ON THIS 120 YEAR OLD GEM. WOULD ...BE A GREAT ADDITION TO ANY COLLECTION OR WORKSHOP.
