Rare Victorian 'WANZER' Clockwork Paraffin Kerosene Oil Lamp
Had this for many years and have never managed to get round to restoration so a house move means it has to go!
I understand this is a Wanzer lamp - other like Hitchcock, Kranzow used the same principle of a clockwork driven fan feeding air to the wick of an oil lamp instead of the draught caused by using a glass lamp chimney.
Condition as you can see in the pictures. The fan seems to be in two halves and n...eeds soldering back together. The motor needs stripping and a complete service. The strip of metal with a hole in it is possible the original end of the spring, so this will need repair. The burner cap is missing.
