ITEM DESCRIPTION: We are listing other great watch movement parts so be sure to check them out! In this auction we are happy to offer a Swiss Antique Split Seconds Chronograph 'Rattrapante' Pocket Watch Movement with 30min counter register. It is highly possible that the base caliber for this highly complicated watch movement was made by Agassiz Watch Co. It was one of the best watchmaking brands in the world when this watch movement was made around 1900s. As this movement is not signed/hallmarked anywhere to hint the brand that made it, we will leave our assessment of the maker as merely an opinion. This is a very high grade movement with all hand-finished parts done with chamfering and high polish throughout. This wonderful pocket watch movement is in Open Face design, with lever setting and extra function in the 30min register counter at 12 o’clock. Condition-wise the movement is RUNNING AND ALL OF THE CHRONOGRAPH FUNCTIONS WORK. However, as this watch movement is SOLD FOR PARTS ONLY so we do not make any guarantee about the function. There is also no return on this sale. Cosmetically the dial has outer edge chips between 11-12 o’clock and a few very faint hairline cracks. The movement surface is very clean without rust.
