Running early 1800’s Swiss pocket watches made by the watchmaker Oliver Quartier. AU Locle was the heart of Swiss watch making at that time. Quartier won several awards for making machines that advanced watch making including the balance wheel. The key is jeweled something you don’t see often. It was made by the Swiss for the English market, that’s why there is the S/F instead of the Swiss marking. It winds and runs nice but not tested for time. The dial has a big chip and hairli...nes. There is a 95 on the top of the crown. Possible silver marking? Most Swiss watches weren’t marked so this marked. Quartier died in 1834 so the watch is very old.
