For sale is this rare memorial cross to Canadian nursing sister M.E Davies who fought in ww1. her family stated she died after the war in a military hospital because she had surgery and they forgot the gauze inside her which gave her an infection, which killed her. she was buried with a full military funeral according to the family. I am included the chain it was purchased with- I believe it to also be sterling silver. medal measures 1.5 inches in length- 3.25 in width.
