Small oak barrel with nice brass rings. Tight barrel only one spigot plug. Measures 6 inches across at widest tapers to 5 inches. 7 inches tall.
It came from an old drug store in Monticello Wisconsin when we liquidated some of the contents back in the early 1970s. I would imagine it is from the 1920s or earlier. No writing on the barrel that I can notice. Some staining seems to indicate some writing but no enough to really make it out as writing on one... end. See photo.
