A Pair of Early American Motorcycle Gas Headlamps.From the 1915 - 1925 era.
These would suit Indian Hedstrom / Powerplus ; Harley Davidson J JD F ; Excelsior Big-X ; etc.These are the correct, original style gas Headlamp that was used on these early American motorcycles!
Two lamps here to build one good one ie one lamp is missing the rim hinge, but the other lamp has the hinge; one lamp is missing the domed hood over the top, but the other lamp has the hood, etc, etc. with a lit...tle straightforward work, assembly, & repair, you'll be able to build a really good lamp out of the two!These early American Motorcycle lamps are hard to find because the lamps were made all of steel, & most of them just rusted away; so these 2 are rare survivors! Very hard to find early American Motorcycle lamps these days!
Lamps have a maximum outer diameter of 200mm, measured at the Rim of the headlamp.Lamps are 165mm diameter in the main body.
Lamps are 150mm from the from of the light, to the back of the light
Lamps are for repair/rebuild, so are sold as is, as you see them. See the pics & see what you think.
