WW1 M1912 U.S. Cavalry .45 Holster- Dated 1914
Condition: Excellent, with the leather still soft and supple but there is chipping along the edges and near the buckle adjustments. All of the stitching is tight but there is fraying of the leather of the belt hook loop. The holster features light and minor wear from use and age, including a few light scratches.
The holster is marked: US ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL 1914 with the inspectors initials EC. It is the rare M1912 cavalry holst...er, designed with the leather leg strap and back drain hole. The holster is for the Colt Model 1911 A1.45 pistol and would have been issued to an officer during WW1. These original M1912 WW1 holsters are extremely difficult to find, especially in this condition, so don't miss out on this one!
