On offer is a spectacular Cymbiola magnifica (Gebauer, 1802) F+++/GEM, 200 mm, SE Australia. This is a medium-sized, yet mature (note the thick, superb lip with black margin) specimen of outstanding quality and appearance. Exhibiting dense tented pattern with broad, chestnut transverse band on a ground with a vague hint of lilac - quite unusual. The base is superb, with a very rich orange columella and a stunning cream-yellow aperture. There is a beautifully contrasting darkened band p...arallell to the lip inside the aperture that adds some exquisite contrast to the apertural side. The condition is extraordinary for the species; the only, and very minor, issues are a very small growth mark on the mid-dorsum, a light growth line on the base and a very small loss to the inner lip about halfway down the height of the last adult whorl. Overall, it is an incredible specimen.
