(COUPLE MORE WILL BE LISTED SOON) Authentic, early cinema, piece. Top of the line chair made by Harwood Manufacturing Co in Boston. You can sometimes find an old theater seat that was on the isle, meaning one side of the chair would have a decorative end plate. This one is beyond elaborate on both sides. Fine quality Victorian scrollwork everywhere. Cast iron decorative plates even on the INSIDE, below the arm rests. Directly underneath the seat are more detailed leafy brackets. Padded... seat and back are in wonderful condition. Wood may be cherry, but not certain. Seat folds up. Can use as is, but can also be mounted to floor/board. It stands 35 1/2 inches tall, 24 1/4 inches wide, and about 23 inches deep. I have a couple more that will be listed soon. The floor plate has some damage but can still be used with no problem. Ordinary dings/wear/minor flaws, but excellent overall condition. It can be picked up in Plainfield IL, just outside Chicago.
