Original Description:
This is a sweet old basket fresh to market from a local Michigan farm estate. Check out the pics. It still has the maker tag on the bottom that dates back to the 1920's era that identifies it as a Chippewa basket from this area. 
The splint is all in good shape and it's red and natural as you see in the pics. 
This measures about 5 inches across and 5 inches tall including the handle. 
It is very clean and still in pristine shape with the tag attached on the bot...tom as you see in the pics. 
If you collect old baskets and love early reds...this is a good one for your collection. 
From a very clean smoke free homestead.
