Antique 6.75" Pink Mason's Patent 1858 Glass Fruit or Canning Jar "166" #32/56
For sale is one of 56 different jars and bottles from a private St. Louis collection. I am not a Mason Jar or glass bottle collector, so, please feel free to message me with any questions you might have. Hopefully the pictures and description will provide you with all the information you need. I won't get them all listed at the same time, so please check back weekly.
This is a 6.75" tall, early light p...ink or a pale purplish glass Mason jar. Embossed "Mason's Patent 1858" on the front of the glass. Has a mouth diameter of approximately 2-5/8" and is 3-5/8" in diameter at the base. I apologize for my amateur photos, I had a really hard time trying to pick up any detail in color on this jar. A couple of the photos were taken next to a clear glass jar to try to illustrate the difference in color. I think I failed at doing that! At any rate, the jar itself is in excellent condition, free of any chips or cracks. This is a no reserve auction.
