Original Description:
Offered for sale is a very early 4oz BOVRIL Beef extract jar in a lovely Golden-Amber colour (this was found in the same hole as a Johnston's example, so of similar vintage). It has sunken side panels and BOVRIL / LIMITED / Rd 100848 to one side and BOVRIL / LIMITED to the other.

It is in very good condition, stands 3.25 inches high and dates c1890.
