This card was purchased and used by myself in 1997 or 1998 for a few months before being retired when it was no doubt superseded by a newer and faster card. It has been stored ever since in a closet within a plastic storage bin that’s more or less airtight.Note: I’m selling this card “as is” but not because I have the slightest hunch of anything wrong with it. It always worked great for me. I just don’t have an operational PC handy that’s old enough to re-verify that right ...before shipping as I usually would do. Also, with hardware that’s so long past any current OS or driver support it can be tricky to get it running right. I wish to avoid any situation where it’s not doing what it should for reasons which aren’t clear and are at least as likely to be about drivers or other software as about some physical defect.All that said, if you know your stuff and know what you’re getting into with this “elder statesman” of 3D graphics hardware, I’m sure you’ll be thrilled with it!FYI - If you’re a collector, I’m also presently auctioning an identical card but in the 8MB configuration that was in another PC of mine around the same time:http://ebay.com/itm/133215150441Happy Bidding!
